 |  |  | | | Andreas Apitz ... is a jazz pianist, composer, arranger and dedicated piano teacher in the Lake
Constance area of Southern Germany. Besides playing concerts with various groups, he has
produced some music books published by Ricordi ("Sound of Jazz"). He creates
his entire teaching material himself, and in the 90's the basic ideas of the JazzTrainerAS
came to him - as a print medium in those days. In 2002 his brother Michael joined in to
help realize the concept in a multimedia form, extending the learning possibilities
further.
"The collaboration with Michael is perfect for me", he states,
"whatever I am thinking of for the program - he always finds a way to realize and
often improve on it ... a dream of mine come true". |

|  | | | | Michael Apitz ... is a multimedia programmer living in the Black Forest area of Southern
Germany and mostly creating websites, e-shops and business applications. Since he
is also an amateur guitar and bass player, the circumstances could not have been
better, when in 2002 his brother Andreas introduced him to his ideas of an educational
computer program for aspiring jazz musicians. |
