| JAVA Sound Banks ... |

| | If you proceeded the online installation (without a
JAVA Sound Bank), you can insert a JAVA Sound Bank manually. You can also upgrade an
existing one by one of higher quality. Three different JAVA Sound Banks can
be downloaded (free) from the sun.com website:
or from here: The sound bank provided in the JAVA offline
installation is equivalent to the one in 'soundbank-min.zip'.

| Avoid Problems ... |
|
| | Certain data
compressing software (e.g. WINRAR) may cause problems with
JazzTrainerAS. On start of JazzTrainerAS, the data compressing software might open and
suggest to unpack the 'Executable Java File JazzTrainerAS.jar'. Due to the default
settings of the software, these would automatically attach to files with the suffix
*.jar, thereby disabling the java application. If so, a reinstallation of JAVA would
be necessary. To avoid this, please alter the settings of the data compressing software
first. |
